5 signs it’s time to break up with your contractor
August 18 2011
If you think breaking up with a loved one is hard to do, try breaking up with your contractor. Feelings are hurt. Contracts are broken. The contractor loses work and the homeowner has to start the hiring process all over again, prolonging the construction period and costing them more money to finish the job right. However, if you aren’t getting the results you want or were promised it may be the only choice for you.

A low price on air duct cleaning often comes with fine print caveats that tend to drive the price up fast. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The business world has become increasingly mobile and fast paced. This has given rise to a more versatile type of building – one that can be easily setup and moved from location to location. From a small, moveable office to a “quick setup / takedown” garage, portable/modular buildings are seeing their use increase by the day.
Modular Buildings
What is Modular Construction?
Modular buildings are sectional prefabricated buildings that are manufactured in a plant and then
delivered to the customer in one or more complete modular sections. These units are typically constructed in an enclosed facility where poor environmental factors are not allowed to hinder the construction timeline. Contrary to traditional construction practices, modular building construction is a very cost effective and timely venue for quality production.
The Modular Advantage
Modular building construction has many advantages over traditional construction. Modular buildings and portable buildings offer significant advantages compared to conventional buildings, including:
Shorter Construction Ttime
Reduced Site Disruption
More Consistent Quality
Financial Savings
and Flexibility of Use
The benefits of temporary buildings, portable buildings and permanent modular buildings have resulted in widespread acceptance of modular construction as a better alternative than conventional construction. Today, individual modular building components can be built in state-of-the-art facilities at the same time as site preparation, saving you time and money. Once on site, architectural details can be added, making the modular project indistinguishable from conventional construction.
